REEDCOB® – 5th International Summer School
The 5th Reedcob® Summer School was held in 2022 in two parts, one online and one onsite in Saint Catherine, Egypt.
The onsite week was held in Saint Catherine in Egypt, with a hands on practical experience building a shelter together with a Bedouin community, with the Reedcob® building technique.
The online part had experts from the academic and professional world: Paulina Faria (FCT/Nova of Lisbon University), Manal El-Shahat from ASU Cairo, Islam El Dardaa and Rasha Eldin from BENAA Foundation, Marwa Dabaieh from Malmo University, Yutaka Sho from Syracuse NY University/GAC, Sebastian Niemann from Louvain School of Architecture, Giulio Buscaroli from WASP, Joaquin Karcher from Zero E Design, Li Wan from Hong Kong Chinese University, Shaharin Annisa from Stuttgart University, Waleed Arafa Architects, Guy Valentine, Oliver Moles from CRAterre Institute, Adel Fahmy Architects, Hanaà Msallak from Wukang Architecture, Paulo Carneiro and Alina Jerónimo from CAS Studio.

A 5ª Escola de Verão Reedcob® foi realizada em 2022 em duas partes, uma online e outra presencial em Saint Catherine, Egito.
A semana presencial foi realizada em Saint Catherine no Egito, com uma experiência prática na construção de um abrigo junto com uma comunidade beduína, com a técnica de construção Reedcob®.
