CAS Studio in partnership with FCT/NOVA University and Ezbet Project developed a third international summer school about the REEDCOB technology as well as other earthen construction technologies and sustainable architecture in general.

This year due to the global events, the Summer School was done in three moments, one at FCT/NOVA of Lisbon, another ONLINE and a third one in Cairo, Egypt in coordination with Ezbet Project and Ain Shams university.

This year there were 50 participants involved (14 lecturers and 36 students and young professionals) from 14 countries.

The experts were from the academia and professional world:

Paulina Faria and Carlos Chastre from FCT/Nova University of Lisbon, Marwa Dabaieh from Malmo University, Manal El-Shahat from Stuttgart University/ Ain Shams University Cairo, Yutaka Sho from Syracuse University NY/GA Collaborative, Adel Fahmy Architects, Hanaà Msallak from Wukang Architecture, Sébastian Niemann from Louvain School of Architecture, Shaharin Annisa from Stuttgart University, Joaquin Karcher from Zero e Design Architecture and Paulo Carneiro and Alina Jerónimo from CAS Studio Architecture.
